Commerce Introduces 'First Step Tournament' Bonus for LAPC
Parlaying a small satellite victory into a life-changing win is the stuff of which poker legends are made, and now the Commerce Casino is serving up a $50,000 bonus for anyone lucky enough to win a trifecta including a triumph in the Los Angeles Poker Classic's main event. Commerce will stage a $130 "First Step Tournament" twice each night (6pm and 9pm) from January 16 through February 19, with the winners moving on to $1,050 mega-satellites to the main. Winning the mega-satellite and the main event after winning a $130 First Step would mean an extra $50,000 bonus to the winner, this on top of the $2 million or more the LAPC main event winner usually collects.
