After almost 12 hours of poker Saturday, the final table of the 2016 Aussie Millions Poker Championship Event #8 $1,150 No Limit Holdem Accumulator was set.

The event's second day began just after noon with 85 hopefulls chasing spots in the final ten. After just a few hours, the 63-player money bubble burst and things got serious.

Those who busted in the money, but fell short of the final, included Event #3 $2,500 H.O.R.S.E. champ James Obst, 2014 World Series of Poker APAC champ Scott Davies, start-of-day chip leader Francesco Sergi and Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne, who unfortunately managed to get his aces cracked on the way out the door.

Play tightened up at the final two tables, but they eventually got down to ten with defending 2015 Aussie Millions Accumulator champ Christopher Soyza grabbing the chip lead.

Hot on his heels when play resumes at 1 p.m. Sunday will be 2012 WSOP November Niner Jacob Balsiger. 2015 WSOP final table participant Kevin Andriamahefa rounds out the top three.

Hong Kong's Park Yu Cheung, Aussie Dylan Garland, Kiwi Jason Brown, American Ronnie Bardah and last woman standing Jessica Dawley sit in the middle of the pack.

Rounding out the final table will be Aussie Senthil Kumar Subramaniam and Singapore's Don Mishra.

Each player is guaranteed a five-figure score heading into Sunday's final with a $147,930 first-place prize and coveted LK Boutique Aussie Millions championship ring still up for grabs.

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will have final table coverage from start to finish Sunday, so stay tuned to this space to see who the next Aussie Millions Accumulator champ will be.

Bagging ang tagging will take place without Bobby Zhang. In the very same hand that Nikola Lackovic busted on the other table, he shoved from the button for 200,000 and Dylan Garland called from the small blind.

Zhang: {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Garland: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The two over cards of Zhang never showed up on the board {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and he bowed out in 11th place. The remaining 10 players now bag and tag for the final table tomorrow!

Jason Nicholas Brown open shoved the button and Nikola Lackovic moved in for less from the small blind.

The big blind folded and Brown showed the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. He was leading Lackovic's {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} and held on a {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades} run out.

That sets up the final table bubble with one more elimination before it is set.

Triple Up for Lackovic

• Ниво 22: 12,000-24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Nicholas Brown bet 129,000 on a queen-high flop with Nikola Lackovic already being all in preflop and Kevin Andriamahefa isolated with the open-ended straight draw to see Lackovic improve on the turn with a seven. Lackovic went through the blinds and currently has six big blinds remaining.

Over on the other table, Ronnie Bardah and Jessica Dawley three-bet shoved their medium stacks and went through without showdown.

Balsiger's Ace High Wins Pot

• Ниво 22: 12,000-24,000, 4,000 ante

Senthil Kumar Subramaniam raised to 50,000 from the button and Jacob Balsiger called from the big blind. On the flop {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Balsiger check-called a bet of 50,000 and did so again for 80,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn. The American checked the {5-Hearts} river as well and Subramaniam tanked for some time before giving up the pot with his {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. Balsiger scooped the pot with the {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

It is Getting Tight

• Ниво 22: 12,000-24,000, 4,000 ante

Jessica Dawley opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Christopher Soyza three-bet to 125,000. Dawley peeked at her cards again and then mucked the {A-Diamonds} with a huge sigh on the face. Soyza grinned and flashed the {9-Hearts} followed by the {8-Hearts}.

Mishra Finds a Hand

• Ниво 22: 12,000-24,000, 4,000 ante

Jacob Basliger made it 50,000 and after Nikola Lackovic shoved in, Don Mishra did the same for less.

Balsiger folded and it was Lackovic's {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} versus Mishra's {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The queens held on a {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board to double Mishra and leave Lackovic lacking fold equity.
