Saveikis Algirdas opened for 4,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Sebastian Ruthenberg on the button. A short-stacked Harald Olsen then moved all in from the big blind for around 17,000, which both Algirdas and Ruthenberg called. When the flop fell , the former led out for 28,300, Ruthenberg raised big, and Algirdas snap-called off for 87,800.
All three players held pocket pairs, but Olsen was worse while Algirdas was the favorite. The turn was of no consequence, but the river was as it allowed Olsen to collect the main pot and survive. With that said, Algirdas still won the massive side pot and dealt a blow to Ruthenberg's stack.
