Cody Four Flushes Puchkov

Konstantin Puchkov, who finished third in this very event back in Season 7 for €300,000, raised to 4,500 from early position and cleared the field to Jake Cody, who moved all in for 55,400 from the button. The blinds both folded and Puchkov slid in a call.

The dynamic duo held the same hand, which meant it would be a chop barring one of the players making the flush. Puchkov had a better chance of doing that with two spades in his hand, but it would be Cody who was freerolling on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Puchkov looked disgusted, and even more so when the {7-Diamonds} turn gave Cody the flush. The Russian could still chop if the river put a straight flush on the board, but it wasn't in the cards as the {9-Spades} blanked.
