Tang Leads Another Final Table in Event #7: $100,000 Short Deck

Danny Tang is back with a huge chip lead on the final table of Event #7: $100,000 Short Deck here at the Super High Roller Bowl Europe series. With 26 entries out of 14 unique players, a prize pool of $2,600,000 was created. All four players have secured at least $260,000 but will all be looking to grab that first-place prize of $1,169,000.

Tang was responsible for bursting the bubble when he first doubled up Cary Katz but then took it all and more back in the last hand of the night. Katz held ace-queen suited against the ace-jack suited of Tang. And even though Tang had flopped the pair of jacks, Katz had picked up the nut-flush and straight draws but bricked both the turn and river to bust.

Second in the counts is Tony G who has already won a Short Deck tournament as he took down Event #3 for $382,500 and is looking for another title. He was also responsible for the eliminations of Ivan Leow and Event #1 Champion, Phil Ivey.

Santi Jiang took down Event #5 for $756,000 and is back for his fourth final table of the series while Paul Phua is on his third. Phua played the broadcasted cash game with Leon Tsoukernik, Rob Yong, and Tony G last night. He came out of it with a profit and is looking to continue the good run.
