Brett Shaffer raised to 2,200 in middle position and the player on his left three-bet to 4,900. It folded back to Shaffer who thought for about a minute before moving all in. His opponent wasted no time in calling and the hands were turned face up.
The board ran out and Shaffer's King's held. The two chip stacks were nearly identical but Shaffer's 33,000 edged out the 32,000 and change of his opponent and Shaffer earns a 72,000 stack and a notch on his belt.
