Event 3: $3,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha

Cashing Lammers Early

A few players have elected to use their two rebuy lammers right at the start: David Benefield, Dimitar Danchev and Jonathan Clancy. Thomas Gabriel has cashed in one of his lammers.

Williams Picks off Early Bluff

David Williams has taken the early advantage in his match versus Kory Kilpatrick after picking off a river bluff.

Williams called a raise before both players checked the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. The turn came {3-Diamonds} and Kilpatrick bet 1,500 when Williams checked to him. Call.

The river was {4-Hearts} and Williams checked and had to wait two minutes before Kilpatrick bet a chunky 4,100. He snap-called with {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, besting Kilpatrick's busted straight draw with {j-}{10-}.
