Event #14: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

Hanks and Lindgren Tangle Early

[user217945] • Ниво 12: 600-1,200, 200 ante

From the button Brent Hanks raised to 2,400. He was only called by Erick Lindgren in the big blind.

On the flop of {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} both players checked. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Lingren decided to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 5,200. Hanks just called.

The river was the {5-Spades} and this time Lindgren checked. Hanks fired out a bet of 8,600 and this put Lindgren in the tank for nearly two minutes. He thought very intently about making the call, but then decided to throw it away. "I think that river saved me," Lindgren said.

"You got saved," Hanks said, showing the {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a turned straight.
