Steve Sung raised to 50,000 on the button, Kevin Eyster moved all in for 354,000 in the big blind, and Sung went into the tank. After three minutes or so, Sung lifted up the chip that was protecting his cards, and it looked like he was going to muck, but he placed the chip back on his cards and made the call.
The dealer fanned , giving Sung a pair of fives. Eyster held backdoor flush and straight draws, and his straight draw remained alive when the turned. Eyster could survive with a four on the river for a straight or a three for a set, but the was no help.
Eyster was eliminated in ninth place, earning $95,884, while Sung has 2.4 million chips.
