Phil Laak opened to 6,000, and Daniel Idema made it 20,000. Everyone folded back to Laak, who made the call. Both players checked the flop, and likewise on the
turn.
"How much is out there?" Laak asked after the hit the river. Told it was 44,000, he bet 33,000.
Idema cut out a call and dropped it into the pot, causing Laak to start laughing.
"You got it," he said.
Idema showed for a straight to the king.
