Day 2 of Event #15: €550 Colossus No-Limit Hold'em is about to begin at 15:00 p.m. local time, here at King's Resort. The last event of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe is ready to welcome all those who advanced through the nine starting flights, combined for the first time in the poker room. The prize pool has reached €1,300,550, smashing the €1,000,000 that has been set, with a total number of 2,738 entries, out of which only 313 remain in the field.
This year we will have a new winner as Tamir Segal, the defending champion, didn't manage to advance to Day 2 after his efforts in multiple starting flights. Second in chips will be Pierre Neuville with 720,000 chips from Day 1h.
The winner of the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year Race is yet to be determined with four contenders about to play in Day 2. Daniel Negreanu is first in the leaderboard and he will start Day 2 with 235,000, Robert Campbell follows with the biggest stack among all four with 374,000, while Shaun Deeb is third and bagged 215,000.
